Latar Belakang

Dalam struktur populasi Indonesia, persentase pemuda (pada kategori usia 17-35 tahun) telah melewati angka 60%, mewarnai lebih dari setengah wajah bangsa dan memegang peranan penting dalam memajukan negeri tercinta.

Melihat fakta yang sangat nyata ini, Indonesian Future Leaders dibentuk dengan kesadaran bahwa pemuda Indonesia membutuhkan suatu media yang bisa membukakan lebih banyak pintu kesempatan bagi mereka untuk mulai bergerak dan mendatangkan perubahan positif bagi kebaikan tanah air. Indonesian Future Leaders merupakan metamorfosis dari sebuah komunitas anak – Komunitas Anak Kritis Indonesia (KAKI) yang didirikan pada tahun 2007 di kota Padang.

Kaum muda adalah pucuk yang siap tumbuh menjadi pohon besar, menjadi salah satu kunci yang menentukan masa depan negeri. Lebih baik atau sebaliknya, adalah hal yang harus kita siapkan dari sekarang. Untuk itu Indonesian Future Leaders hadir, demi membentuk para pemimpin yang siap menentukan arah laju bangsa Indonesia di masa depan

The Founders

Now that  we can see what used to be unseen, feel what used to be surreal,  and capture what used to be intangible, is the sign that human’s mind has freed itself from the barrier of fear. Freedom of mind has now become extensively popular yet it is the most valuable thing that a human has, that differs the homo sapiens from any other species living on earth.

However, freedom of mind, despite all the almightiness that it has, can not stand alone. It needs a platform that is designed to allow it to cultivate optimally, to allow the free spirits and minds to find its own way towards their desired objectives and goals.

We have seen ideas, dumped by its generator, either because of the thing called pesimism, sceptism, or because there is not enough platform  available in the surroundings. We have witnessed this phenomenon quite enough so that we finally decided to make more platform, bridging the leader of the future closer to their dreams and personal goals.

Started with seven youngsters with seven different brilliant minds, we founded Indonesian Future Leaders  in Depok? This community is a metamorphosis from the previously established community named Indonesian Critical Children Community which based in Padang, West Sumatera. This community is later transformed into Indonesian Future Leaders in order to meet the need of the youths and come as an antidote to the most anticipated issue nowadays and thus, bring a more immense effect on the people involved. Our aim is to nurture the bright minds of youths, whose age ranged from 24 and below, with avant-garde ideas and provide them with skills which are relevant with personal aims.

We initiate, we act, we share, and we inspire. These motto of us never fails to show our strong determination and spirit of innovation. It lives inside us and  echoes in every program that we held. We hope that we can be an agent of change that is able to contribute to the community and society extensively.
